BT Pay: Final Offer – recommended for acceptance

 BT has tabled a final offer comprising a 4.7% increase in base pay and pay related allowances with effect from 1^st April 2007 and RPI + 0.5% on base pay and pay related allowances with effect from 1^st April 2008. London Weighting will also increase with effect from 1^st April 2007 and 1^st April 2008 by 75% of the increases quoted.

The TFSE met this afternoon and agreed to recommend the offer for acceptance by the membership in a consultative ballot.

The arrangements and timetable for the consultative ballot will be communicated to branches as soon as practicable and branches will also receive an advance copy of the leaflet that will be sent to members with the ballot paper.
