Now that the festive events are past we are back to business as usual.
The Committee and Section meetings are the 5th and 12th of January at the Queens Club we will also be there on the 2nd and 9th February taking nominations for office bearers and committee.
Next month we will be moving to other premises namely St Stephens Church Bath Street 200 Yards from the Kings Theatre on the left from Charing Cross Railway Station.
The next Section meeting is also our AGM. when we elect Office Bearers and Committee with reports form the Treasurer Jim Scanlon and Secretary Bob McLean we will also have reports from Branch Chairman (Phil Hughes) and Branch Secretary (Laurie McMenamin).
It is with deep regret that I have to report that our Chairman Bob Caldow is very ill, he spent two weeks in the Western Infirmary but is now at home but requires constant treatment and attention, and we hope you join with us in sending our sincere and kind thoughts for his recovery.
We look forward to seeing you at our new premises (it is still easy to get to).
There is a restaurant called the OASIS at the new premises which we hope to make good use of.
Try and come to our meetings as if we can get the numbers we hope to have a bus run also a theatre night before the holiday season.
